On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, March 10 - 12, we will be having a fundraiser with Usborne books. The book display will take place in the Muscle Room of the Preschool. The money raised will help our Preschool order much needed books. |

Soon, the weather will be getting warm enough to take the children outside to play. Our Preschool's playground desperately needs a clean-up. Will you help out? If so, please contact Renee at the Preschool. |

We have a tight parking lot, that's for sure. Construction and the shared traffic with the school next door, hasn't helped.
However, there are a few things that you can do to help out with traffic congestion. Please remember:
- Park straight ahead when pulling into a parking spot.
- Do not take up two spaces.
- Do not block the exit of our driveway or playground gate.
As always: BE ON THE LOOKOUT CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES. Drive slowly and back out of your space carefully.
Thanks for your help, patience and prayers!

We care about our Preschool families and we are taking initiative to stop the spread of flu this season. Local schools are working closely with the CDC and health departments to monitor flu symptoms and take steps concerning safe practices. Here's some good advice to share and pass along:
• Teach your children to wash their hands often with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub. You can set a good example by doing this as a family. • Teach your children not to share personal items like drinks, food or unwashed utensils, and to cover their coughs and sneezes using the elbow, arm or sleeve instead of the hand when a tissue is unavailable. • Know the signs and symptoms of the flu. Symptoms of the flu include fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit, 37.8 degrees Celsius or greater), cough, sore throat, a runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, and feeling very tired. Some people may also vomit or have diarrhea. • Keep sick children at home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever (without using fever-reducing drugs) or do not have signs of flu. Keeping children with a fever at home will reduce the number of people who may get infected. • Do not send or bring children to school or church if they are sick. For more information about Preschool health and safety, talk to your child's teacher.
Most importantly, pray for a flu-free season! |
